How to Import a Pixel Brush into Procreate

Download the Brush: First, download the pixel brush to your device's files.

Open Procreate: Launch the Procreate app on your iPad.

Access Brushes: Tap on the brush icon located in the top right corner of the Procreate interface.

Add New Brush: Press the "(+)" icon at the top of the brush library to add a new brush.

Import Brush: In the top right corner, tap "Import" to select your downloaded brush file from your device's files.

You're Set!: Once imported, the brush will be added to your brush library, and you're ready to start creating with your new pixel brush.Enjoy and happy creating!

How to Use Your Pixel Brush in Procreate

Create a New Canvas: Tap on the "(+)" button located in the top right corner of the Procreate homepage to start a new project.

Choose Canvas Size: Select the desired canvas size in pixels. For pixel art, specific dimensions like 64x64 pixels are often used to maintain that classic pixelated look.

Select Your Pixel Brush: Open your brush library by tapping on the brush icon, then find and select your new pixel brush.

Start Creating: With your pixel brush selected, you're all set to begin creating your masterpiece on the canvas.

How to Export Your Pixel Art For Social Media

Copy Your Artwork: While viewing your artwork, tap on the wrench icon located at the top left corner of your canvas to open the Actions menu. Then, select "Add" and choose "Copy Canvas" to copy your entire artwork.

Create a New Canvas: Tap on the "(+)" button at the top right corner of the homepage to create a new canvas. From the options, select "Square" as this format is often preferred for social media platforms.

Paste Your Artwork: In your new square canvas, go back to the top left corner, tap on the wrench icon to open the Actions menu again, and press "Paste." This will insert your copied artwork into the square canvas.

Fit Artwork to Canvas: At the bottom of the screen, you will see an option that says "Fit to Canvas." Tap on it to adjust your artwork so that it fills the entire canvas optimally for social media.

Your Artwork is Ready for Social Media: Now that your artwork is perfectly fitted within a square canvas, it's ready to be exported! :D
